Because there’s more honey! There’s more! Today’s episode is all about the last few months and how they brought me to a point of not only wanting to take a month out from being a content producer, but also, actually NEEDING to, for my health.
After months (k, let’s be honest, YEARS) of trying to tackle this same problem of my burnout/overwhelm pattern with the same broken strategy, (and then expecting for there to be some miraculous breakthrough and a different result), is bordering on insanity innit.
Y’see, my experiences of overwhelm and burnout this year have been at their absolute peak. I’m a little embarrassed to say it’s taken me so long to actually cop on and learn the freaking lesson here, but hey I’m an imperfect human like we all are ay 🤷 And what is that lesson? It’s exactly what I mentioned above – you can’t keep tackling the same problem with the same strategy and expect a different result.
So last month, I stopped with the banging-my-head-against-the-wall broken strategy. I actually, FINALLY changed tact. And I’m proud to say, I already have a different result! Four weeks in. You could say it’s the cure 😉
