Have I got a TRRRREAT for you this week! It’s the second instalment of my Imperfectionista of the Month series, and I’m so insanely honoured to have been able to pinch a moment of this legendary imperfectionista’s time to have a chat.

We stole a lil’ call amongst building works, sirens and a bazillion interviews she was already committed to that day, and she so generously, and graciously squoze us in for a stonker of a chat.

As I mentioned in my previous interview, each month I’m showcasing super-inspiring imperfectionistas that have insanely inspired me on my journey. I’m showcasing ordinary women on extraordinary journeys. I’m showcasing women who have had the ladyballs to create their life on their terms, unapologetically, and without needing permission, from anyone or anything. And I’m showcasing women that have turned their struggle, into their success.

What I really want you to take from this series though is confirmation – confirmation that whatever your dreams might be, they’re possible. Confirmation that no, your idea isn’t too wacky. Confirmation that the way things might be for you now, the way things might’ve always been for you up until this point in fact – DO NOT dictate that that’s how things will always be.

So without further ado, I want you to meet the EPIC Shahroo Izadi 👏 The Behavioural Change Specialist and author of The Kindness Method: Changing Habits for Good.

Her approach is influenced by the experience she gained working in various roles across the frontline addiction treatment field in clinical, community and prison settings. (Yep, we’re talking that kinda awesome).

To say that Shahroo has created her own extraordinary journey is kinda an understatement. From her studies of Psychosocial Sciences and Psychology, her struggle with a stammer and her lifelong battle with her weight (a battle in which she used her own tools and resources to lose 8 stone, and keep it off), to now having created a sought-after private practice and a two-book deal with Pan Macmillan (a deal that no less than FIVE publishers were auctioning on!) 💪 you kinda get where I’m coming from with the ‘extraordinary journey’ stuff, right? 😁
